What does Eftpos NZ do?
Eftpos NZ provides EFTPOS terminals, online payment tools, and secure payment network services to New Zealand businesses. We help retailers, cafés, service providers, and more accept in-store and online payments with 24/7 local support.

What payment methods can I accept?
All our EFTPOS terminals accept locally and internationally issued EFTPOS and debit cards by default. To take credit and contactless cards (Visa, Mastercard, UnionPay), your bank will set up a merchant facility. You can also add alternative payment types through third-party providers.
What costs can I expect?
You’ll pay a monthly service fee for your terminal and a $15.00 + GST monthly fee for connection to the Verifone Network. Your bank may charge a one-off setup fee for your merchant facility, and processing fees depending on the payment types you accept.
Where can I see my transactions?
You can view summaries on your terminal. For detailed insights, log in to Verifone Central - our free online reporting platform.
How long does it take to get set up?
Most businesses are ready within a few weeks. We’ll guide you through choosing a terminal, setting up your merchant facility, and installing your device.
