What costs can I expect?
A monthly service fee applies. Your first 100 Checkout transactions are free, then a 20¢ per transaction fee applies. Note that your bank may charge a one-time setup fee for a new merchant number. Credit and debit card processing fees charged by your bank will apply. Learn more about pricing here.
What payment methods can I accept?
Accept Visa, Mastercard and AMEX cards, and digital wallets such as Google Pay and Apple Pay.
Where can I see online transactions made by my customers?
On Verifone Central, our free online reporting platform. If you use a plugin you can also monitor orders via your CMS. We recommend using webhooks to sync changes between your CMS and Verifone Central.
What type of PCI compliance is involved when using Verifone for eCommerce?
The level of PCI compliance depends on your chosen solution. Our Checkout solution covers you automatically with no compliance work on your part. An eCommerce API requires certification by completing a SAQ-C PCI questionnaire.
How does a redirect Checkout work?
Customers are redirected to a secure payment page hosted by Verifone. After entering their card details, the transaction is processed, and they are redirected to a page of your choice.
How do I add the Verifone Checkout to my website using a plugin?
We will send you an email when your Verifone Merchant ID is live on our payment processing gateway. You can then download and install the correct Verifone plugin on your CMS and configure it to connect to your Verifone account.
