How do I get in touch with the right team?
Technical support is available 24/7 — call 0800 EFTPOS (0800 338 767, option 2) or raise a ticket online. For billing, accounts and general enquiries, Customer Services is available Monday to Friday, 8AM–5PM on option 3. Find out more about who to contact for payments support on our Help Centre.
My terminal has a connection error. What should I do?
Start by restarting your terminal. This resolves most unexpected issues. If the problem continues, check our full connection troubleshooting guide. If your terminal still won't connect, call our technical helpdesk on 0800 EFTPOS (0800 338 767, option 2). We're available 24/7.
When do my funds settle?
Settlement typically takes place between 10:15PM and 11:55PM each day. Note that some payment types — including AMEX and gift cards — can have a longer settlement period and may not appear in your current settlement. To change the bank account your funds settle into, contact the bank that provides your merchant facility.
How long does it take to get set up?
Most businesses are up and running within a few weeks. We'll guide you through choosing the right terminal, setting up your merchant facility with your bank, and getting your device installed.
What costs can I expect?
You'll pay a monthly service fee for your terminal and a $15 + GST monthly fee for connection to the Verifone Network. Your bank may charge a one-off setup fee for your merchant facility, and processing fees depending on the payment types you accept.
Can I hire a terminal for a couple of days or a few weeks?
Yes. You can hire an EFTPOS terminal for anywhere from one day to one month. Apply online here.
