How does a payment link work?

A payment link is a URL you can share with a customer so they can make a payment for your goods or services online. When the customer clicks the link, they are taken to a secure payment checkout where they can enter their payment details and complete the transaction.

What types of payments can I accept through a payment link?

Accept payments from locally and internationally issued Visa and Mastercard cards.

What costs can I expect?

Verifone Pay by Link is $13.50 per month (GST exclusive) plus a transaction fee of 20c per transaction. Your first 100 transactions are free each month. Check out our cost-effective bundles and learn more about Online Payments pricing here.

Your bank may charge a one-off set-up fee for a new merchant number. Credit & debit card processing fees charged by your bank will apply.

How do I use Pay by Link?

Pay by Link is an integrated payment tool available on our merchant portal, Verifone Central. You can log in to Verifone Central and create a payment link from any device with a web browser.

Can I refund Pay by Link transactions?

You can view and refund Pay by Link transactions from your Payment Links dashboard on Verifone Central.
