Frequently Asked Questions

What costs can I expect?

You can expect to pay a monthly service fee to lease your terminal which varies depending on the model and leasing term. There is a monthly charge to connect to the Worldline Network of $18.90 + GST per terminal, per month. Your bank may also charge a one-off set-up fee for a new merchant facility. Monthly credit & contactless debit card processing fees charged by your bank may apply.

What's the difference between the Worldline Network and the Verifone Network?

In New Zealand, you'll find two main payment networks: the Worldline network and the Verifone network. We operate the Verifone Network, but we can provide EFTPOS devices on both networks. Key differences include the payment applications (i.e. the way the terminal screens look) and some terminal features. For Eftpos NZ customers that connect to the Verifone Network, network and terminal support are seamlessly integrated for efficient issue resolution. Our pricing model simplifies billing for merchants by offering bundled terminal and network services in a single contract. The Verifone network is also the more affordable option at just $15.00 + GST per terminal, per month whereas it costs $18.90 + GST per terminal, per month for connection to the Worldline network.
