Accidents happen, but a dropped terminal or liquid spill shouldn’t break your budget. Terminal Plus helps cover repair and replacement costs for a simple monthly fee, capping the maximum repair charge at $300 + GST per terminal. Offline Mode means you can keep taking card payments when your terminal can’t connect to the network. Transactions are stored securely, then uploaded and processed automatically when your terminal reconnects.

If your connection is disrupted, your terminal can automatically switch to a Backup SIM card and continue processing transactions seamlessly.

How does Offline Mode work?
Offline Mode is built into every Verifone terminal. If your internet connection drops, your terminal will automatically store transactions securely and process them once it reconnects.
What’s the difference between Offline Mode and Backup SIMs?
Offline Mode lets you keep taking payments temporarily, in a limited capacity when the internet is down. A Backup SIM provides an extra layer of protection by automatically switching your terminal to mobile data if your main connection fails, so you stay connected in real time.
How do swap-outs work?
If your terminal needs repair or replacement, we’ll send a working device to you fast. Swap-outs are completed via courier delivery, Field Service Representative car stock, or at one of our rescue sites nationwide.
What is Swap Box, and how does it help with redundancy?
Swap Box is an optional add-on that lets you keep a spare terminal onsite. If your main device goes down, you can activate your backup terminal instantly — no waiting for courier delivery.
What does Terminal Plus cover?
Terminal Plus helps cover repair and replacement costs for your EFTPOS terminals. You’ll pay a small monthly fee per terminal, and repair costs are capped at $250 + GST per device — protecting your budget from unexpected expenses.
