Set up

Once your eCommerce merchant facility is set up with your bank our team will set up your Verifone account, giving you access to Verifone Central. From there, simply enter a few details into WooCommerce, and you’re ready to go!

Our local team based in Wellington, New Zealand is happy to help you through every step of the onboarding process and ongoing 24/7 global support is available via email whenever you need it. Use the Verifone eCommerce sandbox environment to test and validate your integration before going live.

Merchants using Verifone eCommerce solutions provided by Eftpos New Zealand are subject to the Eftpos NZ merchant terms and conditions.

Pricing*

A monthly licensing fee of $25.00 NZD (excl. GST) applies to Verifone eCommerce solutions. Your first 100 transactions each calendar month are free of charge, and then a flat rate of $0.20 NZD (excl. GST) per transaction applies to both domestic and international cards. Access to  Verifone Central and Verifone Virtual Terminal is provided free of charge. Merchants processing more than $50,000 NZD per month are eligible for a bespoke enterprise pricing package. Funds from transactions processed via your WooCommerce store are deposited into your nominated bank account within one business day. Additional fees charged by your acquiring bank may apply.

Payment methods

Accept payments from locally and internationally issued Visa, Mastercard and American Express cards with more payment methods coming soon! A key priority as we develop our eCommerce solutions is identifying emerging trends in the eCommerce space to ensure businesses are well-positioned to meet customer payment needs now and in the future. We are expanding our eCommerce solution to accept all of the local cards you expect, as well as a growing list of alternative payment methods, such as GooglePay, ApplePay and PayPal.

Refunds

View and manage transactions processed on your WooCommerce store on Verifone Central, including processing full or partial refunds.

3D Secure

3DS Authentication allows a cardholder to authenticate their identity to prevent payment fraud, obstruct unauthorized transactions, and decreases charge-backs. No additional development is required to integrate 3D Secure into the Verifone extension for WooCommerce.
